Merry Christmas Mea Culpa
26 December 2006I spent Christmas Day with my family. There was laughter, and warmth, and respect, and friendship. It was a fabulous day that evoked the spirit of love and peace that this holiday celebrates.
And then I got home and checked my email.
American Girl says move over Lord & Taylor
21 December 2006Technically American Girl isn’t kicking Lord & Taylor out, but they are going to take over their Water Tower location and will open fall 2008. The current location at 111 E Chicago is simply too small for the popular store, so they’re going to take 52,000 square feet of the department store’s space.
